Keystone AEA is seeking a Substitute Van Driver/Media Clerk based out of the Elkader office to support our delivery and media services teams on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, flexible, and enjoys helping others in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate an agency van to deliver educational materials across our service area.
- Load, unload, and transport items—repetitively lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Assist with media center operations, including shelving, inventory, and material check-in/check-out.
- Organize and track materials for circulation to schools and staff.
- Respond quickly to scheduling needs, often with short notice.
- Collaborate with agency staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Iowa driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Minimum age of 18
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic technology skills (GPS, phone communication, digital check-in, library/media system functions)
- Friendly, team-oriented attitude with the ability to take direction
