The administrator will establish advisory committees to assist in the continuing improvement of program services and practices. A committee may be established to focus on the interests of a particular division or, as an ad hoc committee, on a specific issue or task.
Committee members will be appointed by or with the approval of the administrator, and the memberships will conform to any applicable statutes or rules. Appointments will not exceed three-year terms.
The committees will be encouraged to emphasize the area-wide needs and priorities of children in providing advice and recommendations on program services and practices. Committee positions and recommendations will be recorded and communicated to the administrator.
