The Keystone Area Education Agency Board of Directors is searching for a dynamic educational leader to become its next Chief Administrator beginning July 1, 2022.

Area Education Agencies (AEAs) were established in 1974 to deliver effective, efficient, and economical services to Iowa's schools as well as Iowa’s children from birth to 21 years of age. The Keystone AEA service area includes 21 public school districts and 27 non-public schools with a total enrollment of approximately 32,000 students across nearly 5,000-square-miles in northeast Iowa.

Applicants must have Iowa BoEE licensure with endorsements 171 – Superintendent/AEA Administrator and 190 – Evaluator.

Area Education Agencies (AEAs) were established in 1974 to deliver equal support services to Iowa's children and schools. Keystone AEA is located in beautiful northeast Iowa with a coverage area spanning nearly 5,000-square-miles. We serve 21 public school districts and 27 nonpublic schools in these counties: Allamakee, Chickasaw, Clayton, Delaware, Dubuque, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek.
