We encourage you to contact any of our staff, including your Regional Administrator and Navigators – they are your "go to people." With district approval, professional learning and other services can be added throughout the school year.

Annual District Service Planning:
Superintendents met with Keystone AEA to develop District Service Plans (DSP) for 2024-25. The plan includes purchases for Media/IT and professional learning (Educational Services). As noted above, with district approval, professional learning and other services can be added throughout the school year.

Each fall we'll have conversations with district leaders about your school's services for the coming year. Superintendents will finalize those orders in December.

In a nutshell, Iowa House File 2612 redirected a large chunk of dollars that were previously used by AEAs to provide Media and Educational Services to schools. (Summary of changes)

Districts can use these funds to purchase services from the AEA. You might hear some people call this a "service for a fee."
