Elkader

1400 Second Street NW

Our updated Elkader conference center offers comfortable and flexible seating for a professional meeting experience. Rooms are equipped with the modern technology needed to host an in-person or hybrid meeting

Dubuque

Located on Chaney Road, this meeting space offers an affordable, convenient location with plentiful parking for your small to mid-sized meetings and gatherings.

Decorah

700 Ridgewood Drive

This meeting space is located in the lower level of our Decorah office. An adjacent kitchenette is available for your use.

Rates

Individual rooms may be reserved in 2 hour increments.
2 Hours: $25
4 Hours: $50
6 Hours: $75
8 Hours (full day): $100

Policies

Agency facilities are available for use by education, community and business partners. Such use will be permitted only when the use does not interfere with or disrupt the work of the Agency and the use is consistent with state law.  

Meeting rooms shall be assigned based on availability, needs, and alignment with the Agency's mission and daily operational requirements.

Agreement and Payment: Inquiries for room reservations shall be considered tentative until receipt of a signed Use of Agency Facilities Agreement. Keystone AEA will invoice you upon completion of your event. The rate is $25 for each 2 hour block, per room. The balance is due 30 days upon receipt of the invoice. To initiate an agreement, complete the form above for the appropriate location. 

Cancellations:  The Agency reserves the right to change, cancel, or move a reservation to another room when needed. No cancellation fee will apply if Keystone cancels your reservation. If you cancel your reservation seven (7) calendar days or more prior to your event you will not incur a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 7 calendar days before the event will incur a 50% cancellation fee. This fee does not apply to cancellations made in the event of inclement weather or for rescheduled events.  

Responsibilities and Rules: The person completing the facility usage agreement shall be deemed the person in charge of the entity’s gatherings. This person is the sole contact approved to reserve the space and is responsible for building security at the conclusion of a gathering. An entity will be considered for future facility usage agreements as long as these expectations are respected and met:

All premises must be left in the same condition in which they were found. The Agency shall provide custodial services for normal use of the space. Any damage, loss, theft or misuse of equipment or facilities is the responsibility of the group or individual reserving the room.

Non-partisan legislative forums open to the public and caucus meetings are permitted.  

Fund-raising events and private vendors selling or promoting products for profit are permitted only if there is a benefit to the Agency or students within the AEA. 

The use of Agency facilities for religious services shall be granted only as a temporary arrangement not to exceed one year with facility access after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends. 

The following are strictly prohibited on Agency premises:

  • Smoking and tobacco products
  • Alcoholic products
  • Smoke, fog, or haze producing equipment 
  • Open flames 
  • Materials nailed, screwed, tied, glued, or taped to any ceilings, walls, floors, or furnishings inside or outside of the building
  • Animals (excluding authorized service animals)
