Keystone's Premier Education Conference

June 22-23, 2021 – Virtual Option +  Grand River Center, Dubuque*

It's been a _________ of a school year!  Some might say it was a "rollercoaster" of a school year – we'll let you fill in the blank. KPEC 2021 will be an opportunity to catch your breath and reflect, but also a time to engage in learning and plan for next year. We think you'll find our keynote line-up of nationally-recognized speakers to be a breath of fresh air.

A rich summer conference experience will be availed to all KPEC 2021 attendees whether attending in-person, from home, or from a school satellite location with peers.  You'll be able to direct your own learning by choosing from a variety of content area breakout sessions and......drumroll please..... you won't have to miss any of them because recordings will be available to attendees after the conference!  Using the free Whova app you'll be able to network, have meet-ups, and dialogue with other attendees – no matter their location. If you need recertification credit, we have you covered as well.

Choose from Virtual or In-Person  (registration is closed)

Register by the end of the day on Wednesday, June 16.

In an effort to provide a safe event for in-person attendees at the Grand River Center, onsite registration is limited to 350 participants. As of June 14, seats will be filled on a first-come / first-served status. In-person attendees will be able to interact with virtual attendees using the Whova app and Zoom.

Please email Kathy Wessel at or call 800-632-5918 during our regular business hours if you need help registering for the conference.

Virtual attendance $99

Register by the end of the day on Sunday, June 20.

Attend from the comfort of your own home, the hammock, the pool, or wherever you might be on June 22-23. We'll be using the Whova app and Zoom along with some special "behind the scenes" technology to provide remote attendees with an engaging conference experience.

Using the free Whova app you'll be able to:

  • network and have meet-ups with other attendees – no matter their location
  • ask questions and dialogue during the sessions
  • playback recordings of sessions for up to 30 days

Handouts and Zoom links will be available in the app before the conference starts and we're hoping to provide a digital "swag bag" for our remote attendees!

One hour of recertification credit is available. Two registrations are required to attend the conference for credit: 1) conference registration (virtual or in-person) and 2) registration for credit. Credit details

Please email Kathy Wessel at or call 800-632-5918 during our regular business hours if you need help registering for the conference.

BONUS! Free VIRTUAL pass for a paraeducator with each registration!

We know how important paraeducators are to your team.  For each registration purchased by an educator or administrator, you'll receive a free virtual pass for a paraeducator at your school!   After you've successfully registered, you can email to sign up a paraeducator for free. You might consider planning a share-out session with your paraeducators during and/or after KPEC to explore implementation of strategies and tools discovered at the conference.  Recert credit is available for paraeducators for $35.00

To participate in the conference you'll need to create an account (or log into an existing account) in the Whova app. The conference schedule, handouts, recordings of presentations, networking activities and alerts will all be sent via the app.

After registering for KPEC, you'll receive an email with directions to access the Whova app to explore the conference. The web version of the app will be extra handy this year for virtual attendees. You'll also want to have the ability to join a meeting through Zoom enabled on your device.
