Eligibility: Students in grades 4-8 in the Keystone AEA 1/NICC region are eligible to exhibit at the Science and Engineering Fair in either the 4-5 division or the 6-8 division. Exhibits may only be shown by the individual who performed the work. Both individual and team/group (2 to 3 people) exhibits are permitted.
Registration DEADLINE: February 28th, 2023
To complete the registration form, you will need the following information:
- Name of school and teacher
- Title of project
- Names of project participants and grade level

Iowa Science Learning Community
We will start meeting again to learn about strategies that help implement Iowa’s Science Standards, share and hear about real-world examples from Iowa classrooms, and collaborate with educators from across the state. All sessions will take place from 4:00-5:30 pm via Zoom.
This year’s problem of practice will be centered around how actionable feedback can help with student sensemaking.

Iowa Science Olympiad
Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from State to National levels. The IASO tournament will run 25 events with 23 creating your final team score. The State Tournament will be held April 1st, 2023 at University of Northern Iowa, Cedar Falls.
