Keystone’s Summer Autism Training provides general and special education staff members hands-on intensive training in meeting the needs of students on the Autism Spectrum or with related skill deficits. This professional development opportunity relies on the Structured Teaching concepts from Division TEACCH at the University of North Carolina and incorporates other evidence-based approaches. Training topics include characteristics of Autism, structured teaching, communication, promoting social interactions, and fostering independence.
