Keynote: Here for the Ride: Engaging in Traditional Instruction After a Year of Ups and Downs

After a year of uncertainty and shifts in learning environments, teachers and students are being asked to connect and engage with instruction more than ever. Whether students are hesitant about a full return or simply disengaged in our traditional brick and mortar classrooms, this keynote will look at barriers that must be addressed and provide practical strategies to get students into the classroom and motivate them once they're there.

Breakout: Back to Basics
In all the turmoil of the past year, it's easy to get distracted from best practice. This breakout session offers a look at a comprehensive set of variables on which to build an effective behavior management approach. Whatever your model for classroom management, come prepared to assess your current plan, identify the highest leverage strategies within it, and guard against that which makes consistent implementation difficult.
